Tomb of Lady Poet Jeongildang Gang l (Local Historic Remains of Seongnam City no.1)

This is the tomb of Jeongildang Gang, a woman of letters and calligrapher during the late Joseon Period - Jeongildang is her penname. Her family originated in Jinju and she is a descendent of Gang-Hee-Maeng. She is known to have been well versed in the teachings of Chu-tz and Confucian classice.

She is currently buried together with her husband, Yun Gwang-Yeon, in Geumto-dong, Sujeong-gu, Though there had been not a tombstone here. Seongnam City designated her tomb as Local Historic Remains of Seongnam City no. 1 in 1986, erected her shrineand set a tombstone in February 2000 with the help of the Yuns of the Papyeong Clan to honor her literary achievements.
